Hear from those whoâve lived it
The EFT to Kenya was a life-changing experience. Immersing myself in the culture and meeting local communities, I learned to see the world through a new lens. It's the kind of education you simply can't get from a textbook.
Having the train station right out front of the chateau made all the differenceâfive minutes and you're in the city, an hour and you're in a completely different country. I never realized how much freedom that kind of access gives you until I was living it every weekend.
I came in expecting incredible views and travel, but what surprised me most was the community. Living so closely with the same group of people forces a kind of vulnerability you don't get on a normal campus. By the end of the semester, I'd opened up in ways I never expected, and those friendships became the realest part of the whole experience.
